A Life Steeped in Sound
 “Jayharno” Uriel Smith, Born in the Parish of Portland, South Coast of the island Jamaica, musical career began in the 1990s in the setting of his high school period where he and five of his classmates would create melodies and rhyme words over the drum beat they would create from their desk and the teachers chalkboard. With their smooth style of delivery they had created the name “Smooth Crew” which had made them the school celebrities Performing at every school concerts and sometimes other local events. Smooth Crew at the time was a well received band in the Parish.

Jayharno later cited this group as one of his earliest inspirations to pursue music. In 2000 his creative career was heightened after a move to go solo and releasing his single “Ghetto” which was enough to motivate him to establish his record label “Street Life Records” in early 2005.In 2011 Jayharno signed a recording deal with a UK based recording label, Urbanfront | USP Records.

His relationship with the label led to the release of his first mix tape “JAYDAY VOL 1” in 2012 and “JAYDAY VOL 2” in 2013, followed by his EP “Hard at Work”. Jayharno was also signed to Stand Alone Records in America, In 2014 Jayharno teamed up with producer and Recording artists Coco Man, CEO of Coco Jammin productions based in Czech Republic, where he had recorded singles such as, “Wine and Dip”, “1975” and “Cannabis” for the Album Compilation Sklinzen 2014. The compilation was later nominated for the Andel Award In Czech Republic.

Apart from his music,Jayharno has been involved in several video projects and has made appearances in music videos for artiste such as Alborosie featuring Giuliano Sangiorgi ”A Piedi Scalzi music video” also Richie Spice and Jah Sun’s music video Cant’ live Good” where he played the lead role as a Educated kid who grew up to be a street bully.

Most recently he released his second EP “One Love, One Joy”. Jayharno also worked with producers in countries such as Colombia, Chile, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Africa, France, US, among others, Jayharno did is first international toured in Europe October - November of 2015, He then released his “Jamaican Ranking EP” to rave reviews in 2016 and traveled intensely promoting his music.

He l then released a song called “HEART OF A WARRIOR” produced by famed producer D - Kid of 2X Record with a accompanied music video. Jayharno toured Europe twice in 2018 March – April and July – August 2018, Jayharno released is mixtape 'THE SYNDICATE' along with the music video, the artiste is now foully focusing on his new Ep called 'Digital' and also planning a major summer tour of europe, Jayharno continues to work hard to further establishing himself on the music scene. As for his goals, he says his main aim is to deliver good music that will uplift the hearts of many with nothing but his voice.
